Chamomile, also known as, the charming little plant your grandma can’t stop talking about, is really useful. You should stop ignoring your grandma and pay attention. Stomach ache? Have some Chamomile tea.  Stressed out? Can’t sleep? Chamomile. We know grandma is wise, but what is she really talking about?  Let’s dig in.

Chamomile is an aromatic European plant in the daisy family. It’s a beautiful little white and yellow daisy-like flower. Chamomile is incredibly popular and has been used therapeutically around the globe for hundreds for years. The most common uses are to help relieve anxiety, inflammation and restlessness. Chamomile, most commonly consumed as a tea, is known for its anti-inflammatory effects. It may help soothe menstruation cramps and promote digestion. Chamomile is also well-known for its relaxation effect. People report feeling a little drowsy or sleepy after having a cup.
